Message Wave, a telecommunications startup focused on messaging, is seeking a Sales Team Lead to guide our worldwide sales efforts. This strategic, hands-on leadership role emphasizes building a high-performing team, negotiating contracts, and expanding our global presence.

You will lead a dynamic sales force, develop the sales strategy, win key accounts, and collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to deliver compelling messaging solutions for retail and wholesale clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading sales teams in telecom.
• Strong knowledge of A2P messaging.
• Familiarity with CPaaS and SMS technologies.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire sales teams to achieve targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Develop and execute the overall sales strategy, aligning team goals with company growth objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail and wholesale sectors.
• Promote and sell our messaging solutions, understanding customer needs to deliver optimal services and meet sales KPIs.
• Provide hands-on support for strategic deals and key accounts, including high-level contract negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor performance metrics, deliver regular reporting, and optimize the sales pipeline and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and technical teams to improve service offerings and client communication.
• Stay updated on industry trends and the latest messaging technologies.
• Provide assistance to partners and problem escalations internally with other departments.
• Represent Message Wave at international telecom conferences, networking events, and partner meetings abroad.
