Job summary

SMS group is seeking a Manager EA Sales and Proposal Long Products to market and sell all Long Products Electrics & Automation products in the Americas region, provide aftermarket support, and represent the company’s interests.

You will manage proposal writing and editing, coordinate engineering work, prepare cost estimates, present technical proposals to customers, and travel 25–40% for visits and meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Determine references for equipment and cost in collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Automation teams.
• Management of proposal writing and editing.
• Manages sales calls and attends sales functions as required.
• Coordinates engineering work for proposal preparation.
• Prepare and edit cost estimates for proposed projects.
• Technical presentation of proposals to prospective customers.
• Technical presentation of SMS group technology to prospective customers.
• Develop and execute marketing strategy for Americas region customers, including communications and visits.
• Identify potential projects and develop technical and commercial specifications.
• Project management of Americas Region Direct Service contracts with customer and supplier liaison.
