Job summary
SMS group USA is seeking a Manager EA Sales and Proposal Long Products for the Americas region. This remote role requires frequent travel and close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Automation teams to market and sell Long Products Electrics & Automation products, provide aftermarket support, and develop proposals.
The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, at least 5 years in industrial automation, and experience with rail/section mills or bar and wire mills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics) required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial automation.
- Experience with section/rail mills and/or bar and wire mills is required.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee proposal development and editing with sales and engineering teams.
- Prepare and edit cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Deliver technical presentations of SMS group technology to customers.
- Coordinate engineering work for proposals and manage project timelines.
- Travel 25-40% for customer and supplier visits.
