Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises is seeking a motivated Sales Project Manager to support the growth of our Manual Valve business across capital projects and end-user accounts. This remote role focuses on the Southeast region, with ideal candidates located in the central or eastern time zones near TN, AL, KY, MS, LA, NC, SC, GA, FL or VA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial sales, valve, PVF, or process equipment.
• Strong knowledge of valve applications and project sales.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with EPC firms, end users, or industrial manufacturers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage manual valve opportunities from inquiry to order.
• Develop relationships with end users, EPCs, contractors.
• Collaborate with local sales teams to drive visibility and bids.
• Source and evaluate valve solutions balancing tech, lead time, and cost.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate bid responses.
• Forecast opportunities and maintain pipeline.
• Support day-to-day MRO valve requirements.
• Act as technical and commercial resource for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and manufacturers.
• Maintain responsiveness and manage multiple opportunities.
