Job summary
Romet Limited is seeking a Sales Engineering Specialist for the US to advance complex measurement solutions in the natural gas sector. You will engage customers, develop technical proposals, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and operations to close opportunities.
The role emphasizes travel within North America, strong product knowledge, and the ability to present to varied audiences. A relevant engineering/CS background and sales experience are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of technical sales experience in energy distribution, utilities, or instrumentation sectors.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Science with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products to customers.
- Discuss customer needs with technical and non-technical audiences and translate to solutions.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering and development teams to close deals and support opportunities.
- Develop product sales and service leads, follow up, and negotiate contracts.
- Train other sales team members on technical aspects of products and solutions.
