Job summary

Standard Bots is seeking a Sales Engineer to own the day-to-day commercial execution in their Texas territory. You will prospect, run demos, prepare proposals, and close deals while building relationships with plant managers and automation engineers on the ground.

You'll work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, lead technical discovery, and coordinate with the Implementation team for turnkey solutions.

Qualifications

3-7 years of B2B sales experience in robotics or industrial automation.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota with closed deals.
Comfortable leading technical conversations with plant-floor audiences.
Strong demo skills delivering live product demonstrations and handling objections.
Self-motivated, able to operate remotely in a territory-based role.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial sectors in the territory.
Lead discovery conversations to understand customer production challenges and automation goals.
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including proposals and negotiation.
Build relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
