Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Sales Engineer - Department of War (DoW) to work with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to tailor solutions for customers. You will engage in technical sales, demonstrations, and post-sales support for multi-antenna MIMO radios and mesh networking, with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 2+ years in pre- and post-sales technical support, or HS diploma with 6+ years in pre- and post-sales support.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment contingent upon clearance of background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Become an expert on Silvus' radio and networking solutions and their advantages.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormal situations.
• Collect and analyze field data and feedback to development team.
• Help drive future product development.
• Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
