Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer, DevOps to support our B2B sales team. This 100% remote role can hybrid for Chicago-area candidates. You will guide customers through technical workflows, demonstrate Keeper’s DevOps solutions and coordinate with sales to win opportunities.

You will work to translate customer needs into Keeper Security solutions, run product trials and provide Level-2 tech support while aligning with security and cloud-native best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role such as Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Solutions Engineer with a DevOps/CI‑CD focus.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, Red Hat OpenShift, GitLab and other DevOps or CI/CD technologies.
• Background in software development, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering or related technical field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with scripting, APIs and automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage pre-sales technical support for Keeper products throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer opportunities and understand business needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or on-site at Keeper facilities.
• Serve as a DevOps SME for customers, prospects and internal teams.
• Analyze customer development environments, CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure to align Keeper solutions.
• Demonstrate Keeper integrations with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible, OpenShift, GitLab and related tools.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to stay updated on features and roadmaps.
• Address technical questions and objections to ensure customer confidence.
• Travel to customer meetings locally and nationally as needed.
