Job summary

athenahealth is seeking a Sales Operations & Contracting Associate for a remote West Coast role to support contract lifecycle, bookings, revenue calculations, and CRM integrity for renewals and client changes.

You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Deal Desk to ensure accurate agreements, compliance, and data quality, while pursuing process improvements with automation and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–3 years in contracting, sales operations, or related roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, and process proposals and contracts, ready for signature.
• Review contracts for SOX and SOC1 compliance and coordinate countersignature processing.
• Calculate and validate Bookings and Annual Revenue Implemented for revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain client-signed contracts and resolve issues.
• Triage pricing and discount requests; route to Deal Desk and obtain approvals from Legal, Billing and Finance.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy through regular reviews and reporting.
• Support client repricing, billing initiatives, and termination processing.
• Manage offboarding activities for assigned clients and ensure timely completion.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and implement process automation.
• Learn and apply new AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
