Job summary

Guardian Life is seeking a Sales Analyst for the Premier Market to support a high-performing Group Benefits sales team. The role partners with Sales Representatives and Client Management to manage RFPs, assist with pricing strategies, and ensure accurate, profitable submissions throughout the sales cycle.

The position emphasizes analytical work, cross-team collaboration, and strong communication as you help win and retain business across a hybrid remote/on-site setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1 year of experience in group insurance, employee benefits, sales support, underwriting support, account management, or a related field
• Knowledge of group insurance products and services
• Understanding of underwriting principles and rating concepts
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• 1-3 years of experience processing RFPs
• Experience supporting field sales organizations
• Salesforce experience
• Knowledge of group benefits products including dental, disability, life, and worksite benefits
• Experience collaborating with underwriting, brokers, or producer organizations

Responsibilities

• Manage RFP inventory, quote development, and new business submission processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of competitive proposals
• Partner with Sales Representatives, Underwriting, Rating, Client Management, and Onboarding teams to develop winning sales strategies and drive business growth
• Analyze proposal data and recommend competitive benefit and pricing options that align with customer needs and Guardian profitability objectives
• Build strong relationships with brokers, producers, and internal stakeholders while serving as the primary point of coordination throughout the sales process
• Monitor proposal competitiveness, conduct quote follow-up activities, gather market intelligence, and support successful case implementation and onboarding transitions
