Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance Company of America seeks a Sales Analyst for its Premier Market Group Benefits sales team in a hybrid role. You will support RFPs, assist with quotes, and collaborate with underwriting to shape pricing strategies, ensuring competitive, profitable outcomes.

The role emphasizes stakeholder coordination, data-driven decision making, and building relationships with brokers and internal teams to win and retain business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in group insurance, employee benefits, sales support, underwriting support, account management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of group insurance products and services.
• Understanding of underwriting principles and rating concepts.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFP inventory, quote development, and new business submission processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of competitive proposals.
• Partner with Sales Representatives, Underwriting, Rating, Client Management, and Onboarding teams to develop winning sales strategies and drive business growth.
• Analyze proposal data and recommend competitive benefit and pricing options that align with customer needs and Guardian profitability objectives.
• Build strong relationships with brokers, producers, and internal stakeholders while serving as the primary point of coordination throughout the sales process.
• Monitor proposal competitiveness, conduct quote follow-up activities, gather market intelligence, and support successful case implementation and onboarding transitions.
