Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Sales Account Executive to service Birmingham, AL, selling our family of burial and cremation products to funeral homes. The role blends strategic insight with relationship-building to help customers meet their business goals.

You’ll manage accounts, identify needs, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal teams. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of field sales, strong communication, and a flexible schedule. Remote option within Alabama is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3–5 years field sales experience or equivalent combination.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Batesville products and services to funeral homes in Birmingham, AL to hit targets.
• Identifies customer needs using consultative selling and negotiates prices and delivery terms.
• Maintains customer call planning system and documents accounts and activities.
• Uses computer systems to update sales plans and merchandising programs.
• Provides reports to Regional Sales Director on performance and market information.
