Job summary

Batesville is seeking an Account Executive to serve funeral home clients across Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana from a remote Ohio base. You will consult with customers, present solutions, and drive sales to achieve targets in a defined territory.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of field sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of field sales experience.
• Excellent communication skills and team player mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
• Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and services within an assigned geographic area to prospective and existing customer accounts to achieve sales targets.
• Identifies customer needs using effective selling practices and negotiations.
• Maintains customer call planning system and builds consultative relationships.
• Uses computer skills to analyze, update and implement sales plans.
• Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares contracts; leads collection efforts.
• Participates in client association meetings as appropriate.
