Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Product Manager to work remotely with clients and internal teams, translating business requirements into software solutions. You will collaborate with developers, project managers, and customers to ensure high satisfaction and adoption of Sage Intacct-based solutions.

The role emphasizes requirements gathering, rollout planning, end-user training, and cross-functional coordination in a flexible advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting, MIS or computer science
• 5+ years' experience consulting and implementing Sage Intacct, ERP/financial applications, or other SaaS solutions
• Consulting or business analyst experience communicating with customers or end users and technical development staff on system issues, modifications, and new software deployment
• Ability to deploy advanced business analytics skills solving complex problems and interpreting customer requirements into deliverable solutions
• Programming/coding experience a nice-to-have for translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, macros, etc.) is a nice-to-have for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple customers to design and support software solutions
• Gathering requirements with client stakeholders, define requirements, design solutions, communicate with development team, test, and support transition
• Maintaining knowledge of Sage Intacct software and staying current with product features
• Defining and supporting roll-out of solutions that integrate with Sage Intacct based on business processes and best practices
• Developing and communicating project plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Training end-users and relating system functionality to business requirements
• Documenting customer requirements into software solutions and business processes
• Responding to customer technical support issues related to system implementation
• Collaborating with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Customer Success
• Delivering clear, concise communications and leadership aligned to customer goals
• Contributing to knowledge base of deployment best practices
• Serving as an escalation point for project issues
• Learning and growth through on-the-job coaching and firm-wide programs
• Networking to build relationships internally and with clients
• Supporting growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly Care and Teach
