Job summary

CORE Safety Group is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager based in New Jersey. This remote role requires up to 25% travel to client sites and focuses on managing safety, health, and environmental compliance across regional accounts.

You will develop and administer safety policies, train programs, and ensure consistent safety practices. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 500, and strong technical writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field or CHST/OHST designation.
• Minimum 5 years construction safety experience.
• OSHA 500 certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA CFR 1926 and CFR 1910.
• Must be based in New Jersey and able to travel up to 25%.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform a gap analysis of the client’s safety program to identify needs.
• Work with clients to develop processes that aim for zero accidents.
• Routinely inspect projects to identify hazards on construction and general industry projects.
• Develop and conduct training programs for policies and procedures.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Write project-specific safety plans and job hazard analysis as required.
• Oversee and ensure accuracy of accident reports and investigations.
• Advocate for the client by upholding corporate ethics and promoting safety as a core value.
