Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking a seasoned Construction Safety Manager to lead safety professionals across multiple commercial projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The role blends field safety with client support and strategic leadership, requiring travel and periodic remote work based on needs.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of construction safety experience, strong OSHA knowledge, and a proven ability to mentor staff and build client relationships

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience mentoring or supervising safety professionals on construction projects.
• Experience supporting or overseeing safety across multiple sites or projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and support safety professionals across multiple projects.
• Visit project sites regularly to assist employees, evaluate performance, and address needs.
• Coach and develop safety staff while maintaining accountability and high standards.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing field safety staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and project owners.
• Provide hands-on field safety support, consulting, and project coverage as needed.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, training, and investigations.
• Help with OSHA compliance and construction safety challenges.
