Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and implement safety, health, and workers’ compensation programs across its fulfillment network. The role is remote in the United States with travel to centers and strong preference for proximity to major hubs.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement and partner with operations and product teams to ensure regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and safe handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of safety/compliance/risk management in multi-site fulfillment/logistics
• OSHA, CSP, CHMM certification
• Strong OSHA, workers compensation knowledge
• Excellent communication, analytical, and PM skills
• Leadership of distributed teams
• Experience in manufacturing/warehouse/fulfillment environments

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide safety programs and training across all fulfillment centers
• Oversee OSHA compliance and internal safety standards
• Foster proactive safety culture through engagement and accountability
• Manage hazardous materials handling and ORM-D compliance
• Investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions
• Oversee workers' compensation processes and relationships with carriers
• Analyse claim data quarterly and report to leadership
• Coordinate with HR on compliance documentation and reporting
• Direct Safety Supervisors at locations and drive cross-site knowledge sharing
