Mind Computing, Inc. is seeking a full-time, 100% remote Business Analyst to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project.

The role focuses on gathering requirements, translating stakeholder needs, and supporting Agile software development with close collaboration among developers, testers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will create user stories, manage the backlog, support sprint planning, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 5+ years of professional analyst experience.
• Experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments, SAFe framework, using JIRA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog with business stakeholders.
• Support sprint planning by defining and prioritizing tasks.
• Maintain ongoing stakeholder communication for updates and feedback.
• Analyze business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with development to design software solutions addressing business needs.
• Oversee testing and validation to ensure requirements and quality.
• Create and maintain project documentation for development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Promote continuous improvement by applying Agile best practices.
• Take on additional tasks to support team objectives and project success.
