Job summary

Mind Computing is seeking a fulltime, 100% remote Scrum Master to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project. The role focuses on guiding Agile practices, facilitating ceremonies, and ensuring the team delivers value in a complex government context.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in CS or related field, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills in Jira/Trello, SAFe/Kanban, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience with large-scale software development, data management, and system integration.
• Proficient with Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with SAFe and Kanban methodologies is highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Demos, and PI Planning.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions to maintain velocity.
• Assist Product Manager with backlog management and alignment to business goals.
• Coach team members on Agile values and practices and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to standardize processes across the organization.
