Job summary

Mind Computing is seeking a fulltime, 100% remote Scrum Master to support a Department of Veterans Affairs project. The role focuses on guiding Agile practices, facilitating events, and ensuring the team meets its goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the field, strong backlog management, and proficiency with Jira/Trello. SAFe experience and government project exposure are highly valued. Remote work is offered with potential for collaboration across organizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related discipline required.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as Scrum Master.
Experience managing large-scale software and data integration initiatives.
Proficient with Jira, Trello or similar tools; SAFe familiarity desired.

Responsibilities

Lead Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Demos, and PI Planning.
Remove impediments and foster collaboration across cross-functional Agile teams.
Assist Product Manager with backlog clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business goals.
Coach teams on Agile values, continuous improvement, and best practices.
Engage with senior client leadership and stakeholders to standardize processes.
