Job summary

Technatomy Corporation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Scrum Master to combine requirements analysis with hands-on Agile team facilitation for a Pega-based modernization effort within the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role translates business needs into a well-managed backlog while guiding daily delivery, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder demonstrations.

The ideal candidate brings strength in both analysis and team enablement; VA experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in business analysis, agile delivery, or comparable software-delivery roles.
• Ability to elicit requirements, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and backlog management.
• Familiarity with government stakeholder collaboration and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize business and system needs with stakeholders.
• Translate planning and reporting needs into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Maintain backlog quality, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Prepare weekly backlog and sprint metrics for visibility.
• Identify impediments and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain requirements traceability and alignment with processes and controls.
• Support sprint demonstrations and capture stakeholder feedback.
• Support functional testing and UAT with clear acceptance criteria.
• Promote collaboration and disciplined documentation across the team.
