Job summary

Versant Media, LLC is seeking a Market Sales Manager to drive sales, retention, and growth for GolfNow’s software, technology, and marketing solutions. You will own the full sales cycle across assigned accounts, expanding adoption of tee sheet, POS, and related SaaS solutions to help golf courses run more efficiently.

This remote role requires in-market travel to engage partners; applicants must reside in or relocate to the greater Detroit area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SaaS sales, digital marketing, account management, business development, or tech sales experience.
• Proven ability to manage full sales cycle, close new business, grow a book of business, and retain customers in recurring revenue environments.
• Experience selling software, POS, payments, or marketing technology in hospitality, golf, or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle across assigned markets, including planning, discovery, solution selling, negotiation, retention, expansion, and closing.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with golf course partners and multi-location operators.
• Retain and grow an existing book of business by identifying needs and expansion opportunities.
• Present customized GolfNow solutions addressing operations, revenue management, and golfer engagement.
• Develop market knowledge of local courses, decision-makers, trends, and opportunities.
• Track activities, pipeline, revenue, and product adoption in CRM.
• Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to implement sales and marketing strategies.
• Develop product fluency across tee sheet, POS, handheld POS, and SaaS solutions.
• Demonstrate how GolfNow technology supports operations, revenue growth, and staff productivity.
• Support successful implementation, adoption, retention, and expansion with product and onboarding teams.
