Job summary

Lightyear AI, Inc. is seeking a SaaS Operations Specialist to own billing operations and onboarding for Expense Management, ensuring invoices are generated and paid while expanding adoption across the platform.

You will report to the Strategy & Operations Lead and partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Product to continuously improve the customer experience as we scale. This is a fully remote role with salary and equity package.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in startup operations, tech or consulting.
• Strong project management with ability to improve processes.
• Proficient Excel skills and handling large data sets.
• Excellent EQ for customer questions and team management.
• Highly organized with strong prioritization.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and project manage Expense Management product operations.
• Day to day management of offshore SaaS Operations team (3-5 individuals).
• Design, implement and improve scalable workflows and processes including tooling, automation and AI Agents.
• Manage customer communications during the onboarding process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Product to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify gaps in existing processes and systems.
