Job summary

SuperSummary is seeking an experienced Controller to own the accounting function end-to-end for a SaaS business, reporting to the CEO and partnering with the VP of Operations. You will manage monthly close, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and subscription billing with ChargeBee and Stripe, while leading budgeting, forecasting, and leadership reporting.

This part-time role (10–20 hrs/week) is remote, with a global team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
• Experience owning monthly close, revenue recognition under ASC 606/IFRS 15, and financial statement prep.
• Proficient with subscription billing platforms (ChargeBee, Stripe) and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close end-to-end and deliver accurate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee revenue recognition, deferred revenue, chargebacks, and adjustments.
• Manage billing platform operations and GL integration (ChargeBee/Stripe).
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and leadership dashboards for decision making.
• Conduct variance analysis and track SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, CAC).
• Partner with executives and department heads on budgeting and resource planning.
