Job summary

Nerdio is seeking a hands-on Controller to own accounting operations, close, audits, and scalable pricing/billing for a multi-channel SaaS business. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, you will build processes and a team to stay audit-ready year-round.

This role requires technical depth, strong business judgment, and the ability to scale finance systems like NetSuite, Ramp, and FloQast while partnering across Product, RevOps, and Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2-4 years in a Controller role.
• Strong command of US GAAP, with demonstrated SaaS revenue recognition experience (ASC 606).
• Experience leading accounting teams and supporting external audits.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with reduced cycle time.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and flux analyses for GAAP statements.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for the board and lenders.
• Lead consolidated US audits and manage international entities.
• Design and monitor internal controls with SOX-readiness mindset.
• Partner with FP&A, Revenue Ops, Legal, Sales Ops, and HR on forecasting.
