Job summary

FirstClose, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function for our SaaS and finance technology platform.

You will oversee revenue accounting, month-end close, internal controls, cash forecasting, and audits, with a focus on ASC 606, consumption-based pricing, and quote-to-cash processes. The role requires strong technical accounting leadership, experience with Salesforce, Certinia, Avalara, and Qobra, and the ability to drive scalable improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex billing and revenue models including SaaS.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and audit coordination.
• Ability to lead a teams and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting policies, controls, and reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Own revenue accounting for SaaS/subscription arrangements.
• Manage quote-to-cash across Salesforce and Certinia.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
