Job summary

AssetWatch, Inc. is seeking an AR & Collections Manager to own the end-to-end AR lifecycle in a high-volume SaaS environment. You will lead a team, design collections cadences, and drive DSO reduction while partnering with Sales, Billing, and Customer Success.

The role requires 7+ years in AR/collections, strong analytical skills, and experience with NetSuite and Salesforce. Remote-first with global collaboration across the US and Canada; compensation includes equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; advanced degree or CPA/ CCP a plus.
• 7+ years AR and collections experience, with at least 3 years managing an AR/collections team.
• Proven track record of driving DSO reduction and improving collection rates in SaaS or subscription businesses.
• Hands-on experience across the full AR lifecycle: collections, disputes, cash application, credit management, and month-end close.
• Experience designing collection goals, dunning strategies, and team performance frameworks.
• Experience leading check-to-ACH or electronic payment migration initiatives (preferred).
• Proficiency with NetSuite AR module; familiarity with YayPay, Kolleno, or Tesorio a strong plus.
• Salesforce familiarity; Salesforce-Netsuite integration advantageous.
• Strong AR analytics—DSO, CEI, aging, bad debt reserve methodology, and payment trend analysis.
• Experience managing offshore or distributed team members.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers, Sales, and executives.
• High sense of urgency, organizational skills, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the AR collections lifecycle from invoice delivery to payment collection, disputes, and escalation.
• Design and refine automated dunning sequences and outreach protocols.
• Set and monitor collection goals including DSO targets and aging milestones.
• Reduce DSO through disciplined processes and proactive account management.
• Monitor AR aging daily/weekly and address high-risk accounts.
• Develop credit policy, payment terms, and write-off thresholds.
• Oversee disputes and billing discrepancies with Billing & Revenue teams.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage timely payments.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success on at-risk accounts and renewals.
• Lead and coach AR/collections team to meet targets.
