Job summary

Social News Desk (SND) seeks an Account Executive to drive new business growth across public-sector and media markets, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure every client experience reflects SND's mission.

This is a consultative, metrics-driven role in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with remote work and a strong emphasis on pipeline discipline and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in B2B or public-sector technology.
• Proven record of exceeding quotas and delivering consistent revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of consultative selling, pipeline management, and disciplined CRM use (HubSpot preferred).
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working remotely while managing a high-volume, structured pipeline.
• Authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting to closing new accounts.
• Conduct consultative discovery to understand client goals and align SND solutions to their needs.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within CRM.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product to refine messaging and drive alignment.
• Accurately forecast and report on pipeline health, deal stages, and revenue projections.
• Represent SND at virtual and in-person events, webinars, and demos.
