Job summary

Chimes is seeking an experienced RPA Developer for a remote role in the United States. You will design, build, and deploy automation solutions, translating business requirements into scalable workflows and ensuring production stability.

The role requires 3+ years in software automation, hands-on RPA platform experience, and knowledge of APIs and databases. The position offers tiered hourly compensation across geographic regions with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• UiPath, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, or comparable RPA certification preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Three (3) or more years developing, testing, deploying, or supporting software automation.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise RPA platform and programming or scripting languages.
• Experience with APIs, databases, source control, and agile delivery methods preferred.
• Degrees and certifications in computer science, data science, or related fields are preferred, but equivalent education and experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Translate business process requirements into technical designs and build workflows using approved RPA platforms.
• Test, debug, validate, and deploy bots to production in accordance with stability and security requirements.
• Monitor automation performance; troubleshoot runtime, functional, integration, and credential issues; and update workflows as enterprise applications change.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, Process Design Documents (PDDs), workflow documentation, and end-user guides.
• Work with business analysts, process owners, and IT teams to identify and assess automation opportunities.
