Job summary

Macmillan Learning is seeking an Associate, Royalty Management to support a small team responsible for accurate and timely royalty statements to authors, agents, and other contractual parties. This remote role is tied to our New York office and requires collaboration across departments.

You will assist with period-end, banking and tax form reviews, payee changes, data research, and payment preparation. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in royalty operations and a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of royalty operations, publishing, or related accounting/finance role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Biblio or similar royalty platform is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Royalty Manager and other Royalty Managers with period-end and statement preparation.
• Assist with ensuring accuracy of royalty terms in Biblio royalty system.
• Assist with the review of banking and tax forms.
• Assist with the processing of payee changes.
• Assist with pulling sales information and other research.
• Assist with clearing any errors or exceptions, including data cleanup.
• Assist with editing and creating manual statements.
• Collaborate with Author Care team to respond and resolve royalty inquiries.
• Assist in payment process and review of payment registers and reports.
• Provide additional support to the Sr. Royalty Manager as needed.
