Macmillan is seeking an Associate, Royalty Management, to support a small team responsible for preparing and analyzing royalty statements for authors and other contractual parties. This developmental role is designed to build a foundation in royalties and statement preparation while progressing toward a full Royalty Manager role.

The position is remote but tied to our New York office. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in royalty operations, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and strong

• 1–2 years of experience in royalty operations, publishing, or related accounting/finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Senior Royalty Manager with royalty period-end and statement preparation.
• Assist with accuracy of royalty terms in Biblio or similar system.
• Assist with review of banking and tax forms and payee changes.
• Assist with pulling sales information and data cleanup.
• Collaborate with Author Care to respond to royalty inquiries.
• Support in the payment process and review of payment registers.
