Macmillan Publishers, Remote with connection to our New York office, seeks an Associate, Royalty Management to support a team responsible for accurate and timely royalty statements to authors, agents, and other partners. This developmental role focuses on building foundations in royalties and statement preparation.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in royalty operations or related finance, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and familiarity with royalty platforms like Biblio.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in royalty operations, publishing, or a related accounting/finance role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with Biblio or a similar royalty platform is a plus
• Book publishing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Royalty Manager with royalty period-end and statement preparation
• Assist with accuracy of royalty terms in Biblio royalty system
• Assist with review of banking and tax forms
• Assist with processing of payee changes
• Assist with pulling sales information and other research
• Assist with data cleanup and error resolution
• Assist with editing and creating manual statements
• Collaborate with Author Care to respond to inquiries
• Assist in payment process and review of payment registers
• Prepare payment requests as needed
• Provide support to Sr. Royalty Manager
