Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Robotics Engineer to design, build, and integrate software powering autonomous robots. You will work across the full robotics software stack, from sensor integration and motion planning to high‑level perception and behavior systems.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of robotics software experience, strong C++/Python skills, and production ROS/ROS2 experience, with a track record of shipping reliable code.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real‑time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate software for autonomous robotic systems.
• Work across the full robotics software stack from sensor integration to high‑level perception and behavior.
• Collaborate with product, design, and hardware teams; mentor junior engineers.
