Job summary

YO AI Labs invites a Robotics & Mechatronics AI Expert for a remote contractor role. You will apply engineering expertise to real-world robotics challenges and demonstrate how AI coding agents can support complex workflows.

The ideal candidate has hands-on robotics, mechatronics, system design, and problem-solving skills, with experience using Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork to generate and execute multi-step code sequences. Remote collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Current or recent professional experience in robotics, mechatronics, automation, controls, embedded systems, or related STEM.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve practical robotics and mechatronics problems using advanced AI coding agents.
• Design, implement, test, and document solutions to robotics/mechatronics scenarios.
• Demonstrate AI agents applied to complex, large-scale engineering problems.
• Use AI coding agents for navigating codebases, debugging, developing features, and optimizing workflows.
• Document agent-driven workflows with context, decisions, prompts, code, iterations, and outcomes.
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, reliability, maintainability, and relevance.
• Provide written and verbal feedback on AI agent performance, limitations, and effectiveness.
• Contribute real-world examples of end-to-end feature development and system design.
• Collaborate remotely with stakeholders to identify AI-assisted opportunities.
