Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks a Robotics & Mechatronics AI Expert (Contractor, Remote) to apply engineering expertise to next-generation AI-assisted robotics projects. You will tackle real-world challenges in robotics, mechatronics, system design, and engineering problem-solving, using AI coding agents to navigate large codebases and optimize workflows.

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on robotics and mechatronics experience, plus familiarity with Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, and

Qualifications

• Hands-on robotics and mechatronics experience with systems design and problem solving.
• Experience applying AI coding agents to engineering workflows.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Document technical workflows, decisions, and outcomes clearly.
• Experience debugging and navigating large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve robotics/mechatronics problems using AI agents.
• Design, implement, test, and document AI-assisted solutions.
• Demonstrate application of AI agents to complex engineering challenges.
• Navigate large codebases and optimize technical workflows.
• Provide feedback on AI agent performance and limitations.
• Collaborate remotely with stakeholders to accelerate development.
