Qualifications

• Must hold a North Carolina Registered Nurse license.
• CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross required.
• 3+ years of medical setting experience; supervisory exp preferred.
• Working knowledge of electronic health record systems; Athena preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document phone calls for medical inquiries and prescription refills.
• Assess urgency of patient problems with physicians, nurses and staff.
• Record complete and accurate patient-physician communications.
• Handle high volume calls and retrieve messages efficiently.
• Occasional weekend coverage 8am-2pm may be required.
• Support care management and value-based initiatives as needed.
