MiraMace is seeking a Care Advocate to support Medicare patients remotely in the U.S. You will guide patients through their care plan, schedule appointments, and connect them with resources while avoiding clinical advice. The role handles multiple patients and requires strong communication and documentation skills.

As an independent contractor, you will work 20–40 hours per week, typically 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET, with compensation at $35–$41 per hour. Remote, 1099 arrangement with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in good standing.
• 3+ years of nursing or patient-facing experience.
• Working knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and Medicare.
• Comfort working independently with a caseload and documentation.
• Reliable computer, internet, and a quiet space for patient calls.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients after intake.
• Help patients understand and act on their care plan and benefits.
• Resolve navigation friction: portals, referrals, and forms.
• Identify social needs and connect to available resources.
• Coordinate with clinical team while providing non-clinical support.
• Document every patient interaction accurately and on time.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
