Job summary

Axon is seeking a Product Specialist with deep public safety RMS experience to engage major accounts in the U.S. You’ll lead discovery, shape solution design, and guide agencies through Axon’s RMS ecosystem.

You’ll own scoping, SOW development, and contribute to the product roadmap by surfacing field insights. This is a quota-carrying role with high travel and a startup-like RMS team backed by a global company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing SaaS or technical sales/engineering experience.
• Ability to lead complex discovery, translate ambiguous pain points into clear technical requirements, and build sophisticated RMS solutions.
• Experience independently scoping projects and developing SOWs for multi-stakeholder public sector deals.
• Deep understanding of public safety workflows, including PSAP and law enforcement operations.
• Strong presentation and demo skills, with the ability to tailor highly technical content to both command staff and frontline users.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer needs discovery with senior and end-user stakeholders; translate explicit and latent pain points into actionable requirements.
• Deliver customized and technically complex presentations across agency sizes and segments.
• Develop and present sophisticated RMS and Dispatch workflows that solve multi-system, multi-stakeholder challenges.
• Own project scoping and SOW development for RMS opportunities, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and Axon solutions.
• Participate in product roadmap conversations by providing structured customer feedback and identifying emerging needs across markets.
• Partner with demo engineers to design high-impact, scenario-based demos that resonate with operational realities of each agency.
• Build pre-sales strategy with Account Executives to increase win probability and map target agencies.
