Job summary

Axon is seeking a Solution Architect for Axon 911 to guide client-facing, end-to-end solutions that integrate Axon 911 products with third-party systems. You will participate in pre-sales and delivery activities, writing specs, diagrams, and flows to meet government and private sector needs.

Role requires deep technical leadership, experience with cloud platforms, networking, and VoIP/WebRTC. Willingness to travel up to 50% and collaborate across international teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role in the public safety industry.
• Architectural mindset with multi-viewpoint solution design.
• Experience in a Professional Services environment engaging stakeholders.
• Proficient with AWS and Azure cloud platforms and automation.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, microservices, and Docker containers.
• Background in networking, OSI model, and VoIP/Streaming tech.
• Ability to work with global teams and across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural solutions aligned with client business problems.
• Scope complex deployments with multiple products and integrations.
• Collaborate with sales on opportunities, deliver technical specs and diagrams.
• Prepare model RFPs and responses to client RFPS.
• Research technologies and vendor solutions for integration.
• Provide thought leadership and lead project engagements with customers.
