Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Right of Way Director to lead the ROW department remotely in the Midwest U.S. The role oversees staff, budgets, and project delivery while marketing services to clients and coordinating with internal teams.

The position requires extensive ROW experience, a four-year degree, and a state real estate license or ability to obtain one within 90 days. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ROW experience.
• 15+ years in land/ROW, title research, or similar field.
• 5+ years ROW supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ROW processes, budgeting, and permits.
• Experience managing engineering department functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ROW department; direct preparation and personnel decisions.
• Provide strategy, budgeting, staff oversight, and deliverables.
• Market Bowman capabilities to win new clients and maintain relationships.
• Define project scope, develop plans, and monitor schedules.
• Review cost sheets, billings, and keep projects within budget.
