Job summary

Synthires is seeking board-certified rheumatologists to evaluate healthcare AI models in a fully remote, part-time engagement. You will review de-identified patient charts and assess AI-generated responses in rheumatology, ensuring accuracy and safety.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, board certification in Rheumatology, an active U.S. medical license, and relevant residency/fellowship training. Prior clinical practice is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Rheumatology through ABMS member board or the AOA.
• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Completed residency and fellowship training where required.
• Currently practicing and seeing patients in the United States.
• At least one year of independent practice after completing training.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated rheumatology responses for clinical accuracy, safety, and adherence to current standards of care.
• Review patient charts and compare two AI-generated responses to determine which is stronger.
• Write structured rationales assessing clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity.
• Identify and flag errors that could compromise patient safety.
