Labela seeks U.S.-based rheumatologists at all career stages to act as subject matter experts, validating and auditing AI-driven clinical reasoning for safety and accuracy at scale.

The engagement is flexible and 100% remote, designed to fit around clinical or training schedules, running from July 30 to August 31, 2026, with priority for candidates in Texas but open across the United States.

Formación

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology (ABIM) or currently a senior resident/fellow (PGY-2+).
• Minimum 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
• U.S. citizenship or residency based in the United States.

Overview

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Rheumatologists at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with American College of Rheumatology standards.
• High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate rheumatological case presentations, serology interpretation, and joint imaging.
• Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions.
• Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for rheumatological care.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology (ABIM), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
• Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training. Established attendings and senior trainees are equally welcome.
• Citizenship: Must be based in the United States.
• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
