Job summary

Mercor is hiring board-certified rheumatologists (MDs and DOs) to evaluate health AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to clinical questions in rheumatology.

What the work involves: evaluate AI answers for clinical accuracy and safety, compare responses against patient charts, and write structured rationales while flagging errors that could affect patient safety.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Rheumatology by ABIM/ABMS or AOA.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Residency completed with fellowship in Rheumatology.
• Currently practicing in the US with at least 1 year of independent practice after training.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers for clinical accuracy and safety in rheumatology.
• Compare AI responses to patient charts and determine which is stronger.
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity; flag errors that could affect patient safety.
