Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EIS) is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft comprehensive responses to RFPs and related procurement requests for FOLIO and EBSCO SaaS solutions. You will translate complex library system requirements into clear, customer-focused proposals and coordinate cross-functional teams through the response process.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in sales or corporate communications, strong writing and project management skills, and experience with library

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a sales or corporate environment with proven communications/writing experience.
• 2+ years of professional writing, research, project coordination, or proposal development experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects or deadlines across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, clarifications, and other procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, clarifications, and SME input
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, implementations, and related EBSCO solutions to develop complete responses
• Coordinate proposal projects from initial review through submission, including timelines and stakeholder follow-up
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and others to address complex requirements
• Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs
• Maintain reusable content in the RFP repository as products evolve
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and quality
