Job summary

EBSCO Information Services (EIS) seeks a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and procurement documents for the FOLIO Library Services Platform and related SaaS solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Legal, and other experts to translate complex requirements into clear language, manage project timelines, and maintain a reusable content repository.

Qualifications

2+ years in a sales or comparable corporate environment with strong communications/writing experience.

Responsibilities

Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, proposals, clarifications, and other procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, clarifications, and SME input.
Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, implementation approaches, and related EBSCO solutions to develop complete responses.
Coordinate proposal projects from review through submission, including requirements analysis, timelines, and quality review.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and other SMEs to address complex functional and technical requirements.
Translate technical product information into clear, customer-focused language about needs, workflows, and outcomes.
Maintain reusable FOLIO/library content in the RFP repository and update as products evolve.
Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
