Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking a Customer Proposals Specialist II to craft accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs and related procurement requests for FOLIO and EBSCO SaaS solutions.

You will translate complex library requirements into concise, compelling proposals while coordinating across Sales, Product Management, and Implementation teams. The role emphasizes strong writing, research, and project management skills, with guidance and support from the RFP Team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in sales or a corporate environment with strong communications or writing.
• 2+ years of writing, research, proposal development, or similar responsibilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop technically accurate, customer-focused responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other procurement documents for FOLIO and related EBSCO SaaS solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify response needs, gaps, clarifications, and SME input.
• Research FOLIO capabilities, library workflows, integrations, and implementation approaches to build complete proposals.
• Coordinate proposal projects from review to submission, including timelines and quality review.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Implementation, Technical Support, Information Security, Legal, and SMEs.
• Translate technical product information into clear language focused on customer needs, workflows, and outcomes.
• Maintain the RFP content repository with updated responses as products evolve.
• Review proposal content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
