Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Revenue Integrity Coder to support accurate coding and charge capture across hospital and physician practice settings. This remote role emphasizes data-driven analysis of charges, CPT/ICD-10 documentation, and collaboration with operational teams.

The position requires 3+ years in coding and revenue cycle activities, RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC-COC or equivalent credentials, and strong knowledge of APC/OPPS, OCE/CCI edits, and real-time denial resolution.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in healthcare, business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, AAPC or other coding credentials required
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant coding and charge control work experience in a hospital and/or Physician Practice environment
• Working knowledge of third-party payer rules & requirements, computer operations & interfaces related to charge documentation
• Knowledge of APC, OPPS, OCE/CCI edits and prebill edits & discharged note final billed (DNFB) concepts

Responsabilidades

• Ensure accurate CPT/HCPCS documentation for the patient billing process.
• Perform coding functions, including CPT, ICD-10 assignment, documentation review and claim denial review.
• Review pre-bill edits within key metrics (OCE/CCI, DNFB) and communicate findings.
• Educate clinical staff on documentation to ensure revenue optimization and integrity.
• Provide at-elbow support to Revenue Integrity colleagues and related departments.
