Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Analyst focused on denial prevention. You will perform in-depth analysis of patient clinical and billing data, develop action plans, and coordinate with intra-team and cross-departmental members to improve documentation, coding and charge capture.

The role requires RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC or similar credentials, a minimum of three years in hospital or physician practice revenue cycle work, and strong medical terminology knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC or other coding credential.
• Three years of relevant coding and charge control experience in a hospital/physician practice setting.
• Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, data entry, and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth analysis of patient clinical and billing data to identify documentation, coding and denial prevention opportunities and develop action plans.
• Promote revenue cycle operational efficiency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance; coordinate denial management with team members and other departments.
