Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a Revenue Integrity Charge Capture Analyst to oversee revenue integrity across coding, billing, and charge reconciliation. You will analyze performance metrics, lead process improvements, and coordinate payer audits while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least five years in hospital or professional billing, CPT/HCPCS/ ICD-10 coding knowledge, and relevant certifications. Remote work options are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business or healthcare.
• Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CCS-P, COC), or certification in auditing/healthcare compliance required.
• Minimum five years of experience in hospital and professional billing healthcare, revenue integrity or billing operations.
• Experience leading projects or process improvements around revenue cycle functions.
• Experience with clinical documentation and coding, including strong knowledge around CPT, HCPCS, ICD10-CM/PCS, revenue codes and code assignment.

Responsibilities

• Serves as subject matter expert of revenue integrity and revenue cycle functions across registration, eligibility verification, coding, billing, and charge reconciliation.
• Monitors and analyzes key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and reduce revenue leakage.
• Provides feedback, education, and support for change management to ensure regulatory compliance and improve charging practices.
• Coordinates with local and central services for payer audit and appeals processes.
