Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to oversee billing processes, including charge entry, billing, claims, and both patient and insurance AR. You will post payments, manage credit resolutions, and support other revenue cycle duties.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST; applicants must reside in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX, or RI to be employed. CPC certification and 1–2 years medical billing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical billing experience.
• CPC or related certification preferred.
• Orthopedic coding experience is a plus.
• Experience with Nextgen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits.
• Post patient payments and insurance/third-party payments.
• Handle credit resolutions for insurance and self-pay.
• Maintain Insurance AR and Patient AR records.
• Process bad debt and answer phones.
• Follow policies and continue onboarding expectations.
